3 Mile workout, Ran in PM, 47 degrees, damn cold but felt great! Ran in long sleeve shirt but shorts.
Total Time: 24.18 (Pace 8:06). Rolling Hills course, Speed workout, wore light trainers. Again felt like was running faster than was, (perceived effort was great than actual speed). Although I did feel really good throughout run, even up hills, nice run, the cold really felt good when I started to overheat. Heart rates a bit off so not listing them. Changing battery in heart rate strap.Right knee sore afterwards, so iced it. Mentally feel great!
Thoughts: Felt much better today than yesterday. Legs starting to come back. Did a speed workout. It felt really good running in the cold. Usually take off on Mondays but due to not running on Saturday and swimming tomorrow changed run to tonight.
Warm Down: Walked for a bit, 10 minutes of stretching, recovery drink, iced knee.
